Hi. I am working in Adagio invoices and I am noticing that I am no longer able to have the invoice or batch I am working in, highlighted. I used to be able to tell immediately what batch or invoice I had selected because it was highlighted. Its no longer doing that. Any ideas why or where I can change that?
Thank you!

Hi jkeuber,

What version of Adagio Invoices are you running? What version of Windows is on your workstations and what colour profile/theme?

Could you explain what you mean by having the batch and invoice 'highlighted'? That the edited batch/invoice still has colour in the grid for that record, or something else? And how do you do batch entry in order to edit an invoice - keyboard/mouse clicks, etc.

When I use the mouse to double-click on a batch or an invoice - with version 9.0B - I still see the respective records on the underlying grids have colour. Also, the windows that show the edited batch or invoice displays the respective information in the title: Batch 32, Invoice 1038. This information should be useful to immediately determine what batch and invoice you are currently editing.

Version 9.0B(111102). Windows 7. I'm running a color profile/theme that came with my computer. Not sure why that matters....its the same profile I always run and before I could see the highlighted invoices.

And what I mean by that is...I have 10 invoices in a batch.....and if I click on an invoice, for example to archive it or copy it to another batch, usually the invoice is highlighted with a background color, I believe it was gray..that way I know exactly what invoices I have selected. SOo if I hit CTRL and click on 3 different invoices, I can't tell if I am actually selecting the invoices as they aren't "highlighted".

Where are the settings to adjust or set this? Under user setup? We just did upgrades to payables and receivables and added a couple mor lanpaks, could that have anything to do with it?

Thanks,

Jen

If you'd like, you could try and changing the 'Standard' grid color scheme in Adagio, though this would affect all users in Adagio and not just your workstation and not just Adagio Invoices batches. In an Adagio program that supports editing Styles, go to the File menu and pick Styles. Near the bottom of the list is the Standard style for rows in grids. If you edit this style, you will see 2 different colors - the regular grid color (white background and black font), and a Selected color when a row is clicked. You could try changing the Selected Background Color to something a little more bold and visible.

Installing upgrades for other Adagio programs shouldn't have affected this, though the Styles colour file is commonly used across all Adagio programs and companies. The only thing I can think of that could be related to this is that the Standard Background color got changed when Receivables added it's application-specific styles - though this is not something we know about and is just a guess at a possible cause.

The Windows Color Theme (ie Aero or not, the color palette, etc) can have an effect on grid colors, which is why I asked.

I'm currently in Styles. Just wondering how do I know which style impacts the invoice module? I went into the standard style and changed the selected background to gray, but when I go back iinto the Invoicing module, it's still white in color...unless I select 3 invoices, click archive, THEN they show up in gray...I want it to show up in gray as I am selecting each invoice, as it used to do.

JKeuber:
Speaking as a dealer, if I just installed new modules for someone, I would expect and want them to call me if there was anything about which they weren't happy. This problem is hard to diagnose on-line because it sounds very unusual. I'd recommend calling your dealer and asking them to look at the problem.
