Good morning gentlemen!

I hope this post finds you all well this morning.

We are finding that Adagio Receivables ( 9.0C - 120224 ) can post to non existent or inactive accounts (in the GL).

This is not the case with Adagio Payables and causes us some concern.

Has anyone else found this oddity?

As always, thank you and,

Cheers, JK

John:

"Has anyone else found this oddity?" I have not observed this issue and it would be a reasonable assumption that the lack of response means that no one else has either.

This would be an issue for your Adagio consultant to investigate.

A user cannot select a non-existent or inactive G/L account if they are being prompted for the account. However, they can select a Distribution or some other item that has a non-existent or inactive G/L account in its record and Receivables will happily save the G/L account in the G/L batch to retrieve.

Check the G/L accounts that are referenced within the Receivables setup.

Good day gentlemen,

I hope this post finds you both well and that the conference went well.

I apologize as I did not supply enough information on my original posting ergo how could an informed answer be expected - again, I apologize.

The process we use and find problematic is:

1. import items into Adagio AR from an outside application (this is where the inactive GL Codes are coming from)
2. post from Adagio AR into Adagio GL.

One of our employees attended the conference this weekend and relayed the problem.

It was confirmed that "the level of control in the AR module is not the same as that in the AP module" where this process would have raised red flags.

It was also confirmed that this is a known issue at this time and that it is under consideration - when asked why - no reason was known / relayed.

Doug - thank you for the recommendation of calling in the big guns,
Andrew - thank you for the UI perspective.

Keep well gentlemen and,

Cheers, JK
