We are using Inventory 8.1D, and I would like to know if there is a way to see which user initials are tagged to each inventory adjustment. Is this possible? We also have GridView 9.0E if that is something that we might be able to use to find what I am looking for?

Hi Barb,

The Inventory Transaction History file does not store the user ID of the person who posted a transaction. Neither do the transation audit list files. So there currently isn't a way to determine who posted an IC transaction or when.

We use to have the same issue here, so now when someone enters an inventory adj they must enter their initals in the reference box. Example if I am entering a transfer from one code to another I will enter TransferHM in the ref. box with my initals at the end. This way it is easier to find out who and why the adjustment was entered.
