From the F1 - Help text:
NOTE: If an Auto Reverse batch is subsequently unposted, both the original and the auto reverse entry are unposted.
You may not create an Auto Reverse batch for the last period in your fiscal year.
In the last period in your fiscal calendar, copy the batch manually to the New Year, enabling the option to Reverse the entries.
