Dear Team,
I included a formula to pass the date rage selected in Parameters, however if I run in Crystal engine it works however when I run from within the Invoice Module custom reports it does not bring up the parameter page to input the parameters.

Totext(minimum({?Date Range})) & " TO " & Totext(Maximum({?Date Range}))

Any assitance to pass the date range parameter to the report would be gladly appreciated.

I also have an invoice report which sums on the category inventory code, however sundry items do not have a category code so the report sums same on blank, would like to assign a label to same.

Thanks in advance..

Edward:
It's true that creating a parameter is not sufficient to make Crystal ask you to specify the parameter when you run the report. You have to make use of the parameter.

You've used the parameter in the title section successfully in the Crystal designer. Usually you see the same behavior when you are designing/testing as you do when you run the report. It's strange that you see different behaviour.

Have you used the Date range parameter in the record selection criteria? In my experience, that's always sufficient to force Crystal to ask for input.

Hi Edward

Change the & characters to + characters. I think that might work. Otherwise please tell us what the selection formula is because if all you want is a date range it's much easier and more logical to prompt for two dates - a start date and an end date.

Can you give us more details on the invoice report? Are the invoices "sales" or "purchases". I ask because sundry items are a term used by purchase orders, and if you mean sales, then please use a different phrase.

Steve

Thanks Steve the "+" it now works from Adagio Invoices Custom Reports.

The report is based "Date Range" and "Customer", Invoice History and Payment History, summarized by category less total receipts.

Clarification
((Adagio Invoice Items)) not sundry items, category blank, just need to give a description. Crystal sums them ok, and clerk can drill down for details.

Regards
