Can you confirm that this configuration will work with Adagio:

2 Virtual Servers:

Adagio will have it's own VM with MS Windows STD 2008 R2

Everything else will use 2nd VM with MS SBS STD 2011

VMware vSphere 5 Essentials Kit

Workstations currently on XP will be replaced with new machines with Windows 7.

Adagio has no idea it is running on a virtual machine. If everything is properly set up there should be no problem.

However, if there are problems, then they get very complex very quickly and are impossible to troubleshoot remotely. Experts will likely have to be on site.

If configured correctly this will work. Make sure you are working with someone who knows how to do VMware properly. In particular quality of hardware is critical. 4 times out of 5 I have found VMware implemented incorrectly. The result is a very slow Adagio.
