I recently had a new company set up in adagio. The current year is incorrect as well as the period dates. I need to change period 1 to September and it is currently set to August. Also, the current year is set to 2012 and I need it to be 2011. I have only entered 1 journal entry into the prior year(which I need to be my current year). So, if I have to do something that wipes out this data, that is okay. Is there any way I can make these changes to the year and periods?

You can export the Chart of Accounts, start a whole new database and then import them.

File | Export | Clone company and choose the files you'd like to keep. The new company will be empty, with an opportunity to choose a different fiscal calendar.
