We are using Sales CQ, version 8.1B. Our salespeople do scans each day, using certain criteria, to generate a list of customers that are "due" to be called that day. We would then like to be able to print that list. I do not believe this is possible right now, any chance of adding this in for the next version? It would be incredibly helpful to us.

Hi Barb,

Under the Reports menu and Transactions/Analysis Reports is a standard report called 'Scan List'. This will print out the results of the Scan List where you can choose what information prints, similar to how the Customer List and Statistics report works in Adagio Receivables.

Will this meet your need?

If you really needed this in a 'one row per customer' format, you may be able to create a Word document template and use the Mail Merge function in SalesCQ to generate the report.

It's already on our list for a future release to add an 'Excel Direct' button on the Scan List screen, to export the Scan results like you can from the Edit Customers screen.

The Transactions/Analysis Reports is not going to work, as we really need to see the callback date, and the notes. I will explore the idea of the mail merge and let you know how that works.

Any idea on time frame on the Excel Direct button?

Excel Direct is not imminent.

If you have Adagio GridView, you can create a view against the 'Scan Results' table within the SalesCQ dictionary. On the View definition, you select a 'Wildcard' number equal to the Scan you just did. This number comes from the Scan Control table, which stores the scan descriptions. You can the print or export the results of the GridView inquiry.

Barb:
Have you tried exporting a list using [F6] Smartfinder? When you are looking at your Scan list, press [F6]. Add and arrange the columns you want, including the Callback code. Then search using the Customer name with a criteria of "greater than". Leave the name blank. This search will include all the names in your Scan list. Then use the Excel Direct button to transfer the names into Excel.
