I want to receive merchandise in POA as a delivery note, then add my misc charges (shipping, customs fees, etc.) a few days later. Is this possible? Right now we are waiting until all charges have been received before receiving the PO, which takes waaay too long. If this is possible, can the charges be distributed across the unsold stock of the items on the PO, so that the most recent cost is still reletively accurate?
We don't like to do adjustments on received PO's which may be the only other way to do this. Any ideas?

The short answer is yes to all of your questions. You can even have multiple vendors for one PO, record the invoice for the supplier and add the misc charges to the other vendors at a later time.

There is a setting in Company Profile that lets you decide how you want to allocate pro-rated miscellaneous charges in the case when the item has already been shipped - your options are to spread it over the unsold items, or to send it to a GL expense account.
