Looking to modify the standard report for the Job Summary Report in JC. The report files in the AJWIN\StandardRP folder are numbered, rather than named. Anyone know which file is the Job Summary report?

I believe the JobCost report files are numbered based upon the location of the report within the Reports menu structure. Since the Job Summary report is the first report listed in the first report section, it is AJC1100.rpt.

Another example would be the Billing Worksheet report, which is in the fifth report section and the 2nd report listed, thus the report name is AJC5200.rpt.

If you're on XP, you'll see the report title in the status bar of Windows Explorer. I don't see it under Windows 7.

This would be more useful. There may be an 'H' on the end of the report name, indicating historical jobs. You might also find and A, B, C, D to handle a variety of summaries.

Preview the report you want to know the name of, and then attempt to export the previewed report to Excel. The default file name is the name of the report, with a .XLS appended to the end.
