I have an error in the AP in producing a Open payables report, error message is, 'Error Floating point overflow occurredn when attempting to append record to transactions work file'. What does this mean? and how do i fix it, ive never seen this before. Some vendors are not showing up in this report, and we go to the vendor itself and shows payable in that individual report. Thanks.

This most likley means that your database has been corrupted. If you have been experiencing difficulties with your computer this would explain the cause.

Try a data integrity check and rebuild (File|Data Integrity). You should do a backup first (File|Backup).

Do you have a backup that you can restore? If so please make sure that you remove (to a safe location) your existing database first and then restore. If not then a database repair may be the only option.
