Since installing the service packs we've lost all of our customizations in the grids.

For example, when viewing a customer we have the default grid for the SYS user set to:

Cust#/Name/Contact/City/Province/Balance

There is a check mark in "Set view for all users".

However, when logged in with as our individual users, the grids now appear as:

Name/Code/Address 1/Address 2/Zip/Salesperson

When we click on RESET, it does not change.

Can we not set the view for all users anymore??

Setting up each individual user will take many hours and will be almost impossible to keep everyone consistent.

Looking further it seems that AR is okay. It's OE where the grids are gone.. both in Customer Edit and Customer Inquiry and the SYS user Grid has gone back to Adagio's default instead of our default. I will have to re-do all the SYS user grids and reset all users.

Hi Susan,

The customer grids in OE are not linked to the column layouts in AR - they are separately maintained. If you log into OE with the SYS user, this is how you set the desired default for all users as opposed to the 'factory default'.

Also note that each type of grid is different - the finder and smartfinder grids have separate layouts than Edit Customers.

Installing upgrades or service packs does not remove or change the customized column layouts, provided that they are installed on top of the original program as opposed to a new server or other location.

Okay, I have re-customized our grids and it all looks good now. Not sure how we lost them if it wasn't the service pack. Anyway, we're good to go. Thanks.
