A client has installed the recent SalesCQ upgrade and get the message “unable to find data dictionary ar customer extention @R80BCSE, 1212” when opening Quotes. Would this be a result of not installing Receivables 9.0A? They are reluctant to upgrade receivables at the moment until they find out if their custom mod to OE impacts the Receivables upgrade.

Compatibility chart says it is compatible. Maybe needs a service pack?

Hi Lars,

The dictionary quoted in the '1212' error is @R80BCSE, and the version number 80B is contained within. So the problem is not that Receivables 90A is missing and required, otherwise the dictinary error would have quoted a dictionary table with 90A somewhere within.

What are the file dates of the @R80B?.SSI dictionaries in the \softrak\dict directory? The likely problem is that they have the wrong or missing AR80B dictionary. I believe that the correct dates should both be March 3, 2010.

Both files are dated March 4, 2010.

Hi, Lars,

Sounds like another install was done on March 4th and changed the date of some of the dictionaries to the date of the install rather than maintaining their own file dates. This is known to happen with Microsoft when an install is done while logged onto the server console.

Rename the files and install the CQ upgrade again so that the files will update. Hopefully, those were the only dictionary file dates that were changed by the prior install.

I'd be surprised if SalesCQ installs the Receivables 8.0 dictionary. That's pretty old.

Both SalesCQ and Receivables install these dictionaries. This is the same dictionary used for Receivables 8.1A, the version immediately prior to 9.0A.
