Hi,

I have a client who uses all operational/financial modules and multicurrency.

Their server hard drive died on them but they had a mirrored image to use as a backup. However, when they setup the mirrored image - they keep getting 'Error loading rates' error message for most modules.

I know this was probably answered already but I've tried to use the search function on this forum but it doesn't give me any hits.

Either way, they don't have the internet connected to their workstations with Adagio, so I'm on site right now trying to troubleshoot.

Their current modules are:
AP 8.1B (100512)
AR 8.1A (070920)
GL 9.0C (100511)
OE 8.1C (090731)
IC 8.1B (091210)
PO 8.1A (091029)
MC 8.1A (060707)

So my question is how do I fix the error message so they no longer receive the loading rates message?

Also, POA can't receive items from US vendors and this is the error message their getting:

The DOS\USD exchange rate has not been setup or updated in the currency tables. Cancel this operation and update the currency data.

Lastly, they keep 2 days worth of back ups on 2 separate drives and both of them have failed to restore....

Thanks for all the help.

Sounds like the Multi Currency files didn't get restored.

They're the MC*.LD4 files located usually in either X:\ASP (if it was a Plus conversion) or X:\softrak\system.

You can figure out exactly where they are by opening the ADSPROF file (in data directory) using notepad. The 2nd or 3rd line will be "Currency=m:\SOFTRAK\system".

Restore these files to the same location on the new drive. If they don't have those files in the mirrored image, you'll need to re-configure the currency codes, rates and rate types.

Atta boy Ryan!

I had a feeling you'd answer my thread.

I ended up finding the MC files and copying them to the correct directory and everything's good to go now.

Thanks!
