How do I allow people to enter item alerts in Adagio IC (8.1B 100310)?

I didn't notice anything specific in the group set up that allows/disallows this.

I can enter them, and I'm set up as an admin, but our CSRs cannot, who are set up with less rights.

The CSRs will need the right to edit items.

You might want to consider giving them the right to edit items in OE not in IC. The costing, quantity and transaction tabs are not available in the OE function, so it is slightly more restrictive, yet you can enter item notes there just as well.

Just to clarify Steve's post, if you edit an IC Item in Order Entry, you will not have access to Location (pick sequence or allow at location), Reorder or Sales History tabs, as you would if you edited an item using Inventory 81B.

The Item Inquiry functions (on which Costing and Quantity and IC Transaction History are available) are equally visible in OE as compared to IC. And these are just Inquiry functions where Notes cannot be edited, just seen.
