there is an auto import on startup button in the file import section of the New OE.
what is this intended for? I set the template & tried to do this & nothing happened when opening OE, or when I opened the import module. Do I need to exit windows for this to take effect?

You also have to enable the 'Process imports' option within the Company profile in order to have selected imports automatically warned when starting OE (or other Adagio programs that have this feature).

Note that you must use the 'Delete file after success' option in conjunction with auto-import, to ensure you don't accidentally import the same orders more than once.

the problem was I needed to exit windows. works great now
