I am trying to create a statement group to print without operator intervention. From the view menu I selected Statement Groups. The window is blank. It does not even have the Statement Groups heading in the window. I have been set up with full security rights. Any ideas?

Hi,

Using GL9.0A, you need to be logged into Ledger as the Adagio system administrator (SYS), in order to create or edit statement groups. All other users are able to print the groups only.

Security for using Statement Groups has been enhanced in Ledger 9.0B such that other users may have access to edit or duplicate statement groups. This type of access respects any department restrictions for the user that may already be set up.

Hi, again,

You've been experiencing problems using your data with the Financial Reporter as you've indicated in another thread on this forum.

It's hard to tell but this may be a symptom of the error you reported earlier. Even if there are no statement groups created, you should see the Statement Groups heading in that particular window.

You might want to contact your Adagio consultant to see if they can help troubleshoot the particular problems you are having with your data.

It sounds like the file containing your statement groups is damaged (based on your other post). In your data directory using explorer with the financial reporter closed, rename the file GLRPTGRP.dat to GLRPTGRP.HID (for hidden) and relaunch the financial reporter. You should have an empty report group tree. If you had a lot of report groups set up, then you can restore this file from some earlier backup.

If you are uncomfortable in renaming a file using explorer, then your Adagio consultant should be able to help.

I tried this and then went into the GL - first it told me that my fiscal period dates were wrong, then it told me something about currency tables and it would not fully load the GL - so I went back and renamed the file to the original named and was able to get back in.
