I want to use this formula =STRCAT("For the ",FPERIOD()," Period(s) Ending ",DATESTRING(ADGET("gldates.END",FPRIOR(0)),"%B %d, %Y")),which currently translates to "For the 6 Period(s) Ending June 30, 2009". Except I'd like my report to have solely last years data on it, so I'd like to change the year to last year, so "June 30, 2008".

Can someone tell me how I might do this?

Thanks

Hello Mikee,

Are you really just trying to change the title, or do you want to change the data that is being displayed as well?

Hi Mikee,

try this

=STRCAT("For the ",FPERIOD(),DATESTRING(ADGET("gldates.END",FPRIOR(12))," Period(s) Ending %B %d, %Y"))

Change the FPRIOR(0) in your formula to FPRIOR(12)

This will cause the date to read 12 months prior to the period end of the date you have selected. Have you thought about using the "Colspec" feature to allow you to select (using a drop-down list) the account data your are reporting on?

Thanks Ken,

That was the fix I was looking for.

I know about colspec, but I don't have to modify the financial statements all that often, so I am not all that fimilular with using it.

Thanks again.
