Hello All,

One of our client's has come across an issue when using the print to pdf function in A/R 9.0A.

When they are printing to PDF from the Print Invoice Batch Listing Screen or the Deleted Audit List (others seem to be fine) , the report will look as though it is going to print, but instead just shuts down.

It appears to be a local issue, as I took the data and tried it on my system without issue.

The IT fellow who looks after their network figures the issue is within the module and has to do with report formatting...not sure I agree given my test.

Just curious if anybody has had anything similar happen or had any ideas on what to check out.

Hi Darcy,

How does your client export these reports to PDF? Do they use a PDF printer driver as the printer destination, or another method?

I am able to print both of these AR9 reports to a PDF printer driver with no problems. So it can be done in general.

The built-in export on the Print Preview screen is from the Crystal Reports print engine and the one Softrak proves does not include a PDF export. If your client sees and uses this, then they have a different version of the Crystal print engine on their workstation and that may be the problem.
