I recently converted a client from entering their notes in Contact Master for Windows to entering their notes in Receivables. The collection department does nothing in Receivables but view customer accounts and enter notes.

A major complaint is that whenever someone needs to post invoices in Adagio Invoices (which is often for this company), the collection department must exit Receivables. They didn't have to do this when using Contact Master.

Are they correct? If so, can't Receivables be redesigned so that view-only users and users whose only access to Receivables is to enter notes can stay in while posting occurs in Invoices?

They are using AR 8.1A, most recent service pack.

In Receivables V9.0A you can edit notes while posting invoice (and other) batches.
