Following Datacare integrity check we got this message. You will realise that there are 3375 of them.

We did the rebuild and it has advised us that we need to correct these manually. Not that I am willing to do manual corrections on 3375 items, but I am interested in knowing why the problem is occuring and what can be done to correct it or avoid it.

The errors are caused by deleting items and not deleting the receipts that contain the deleted items. Rebuild would not fix this scenario.

The 2 solutions are to add back the deleted item numbers (probably not desirable) or to clean up the receipts.

I want to add that these kinds of errors are not detrimental in any way to the running of Adagio.

But they are annoying to see every time you run DataCare. And they do cause the process to report a "Fail" unnecessarily.

DataCare allows to to permit a specific number of errors and report a "Pass" specifically for this type of situation. Any change in the error count is reported as a "Fail".
