I've rerun through this same process and as long as, on the Close Income/Expense Accounts window, I select a Department range of 'blank' through 'zzzzzz' and fill in the other fields the accounts close properly. If it doesn't, it's because I had entered a Department range that had been previously closed. The range of 'blank' to 'zzzzzz' is all encompassing.
Please try this again and, if it doesn't work, please let us know and also contact your Adagio dealer for assistance.
