Steve Schwartz mentioned in prior posts that there is software available by Dakota that will change Vendor Numbers, Inventory Numbers, Customer Numbers etc. as well as some other useful things. We have hundreds of old inventory items plus I realize now that because of a new catalogue we just produced we have hundreds more inventory codes that need to be changed to new codes, not to mention the problems we're having deleting customers and the Vendors we'd like to change to a new numbering system. In light of all this, I realize that perhaps I need to seriously consider purchasing the Dakota Toolkit for Adagio software. Who can I talk to to get more details about the software and what exactly it can do? I'd like to be sure before making another software purchase that it will help us in the way that I'm hoping it can.

On one hand, I'm reluctant because of already purchasing DC, AI, AL, OE, AP, AR, SA, GV, POA, Paymate Acclaim, 20 LanPaks, all with upgrade plans in a very short time and really not even knowing how to use all the modules we currently have. On the other hand, the Dakota Toolkit if it does what we need it to, could possibly save us a ton of hours of manually trying to do all this work. We've already invested this much, so it doesn't make sense to not have something we need at this stage of the game.

So, do I go to my dealer for this? It was mentioned that it's new and dealers aren't familiar with it necessarily in which case, does Dakota have a rep I can talk to? How can I get some info?
