It says on page 1-9 in the AL 9.0A manual "The first time you open your Adagio Ledger 6.8, 8.0 or 8.1 data..."

We are currently using ACCPAC General Ledger v7.0A. What's the recommended upgrade path from that version to AL9.0A? Should we upgrade to 8.1 first, then upgrade to 9.0A? Go straight from ACCPAC GL 7.0A to Adagio Ledger 9.0A?

Hi Andre,

You can go straight from ACCPAC Plus V7.0A to Adagio Ledger V9.0A without bothering with the other versions. Note that although Adagio Ledger V9.0A supports multiple years, it will only pick up this year and last year from your ACCPAC Plus G/L. The earlier years will have to be loaded using File | Import | Retrieve prior data.

Great. Thanks! According to our CFO, we only have the current and last year in ACCPAC GL. Whenever they did year end closing in ACCPAC GL, it would remove anything prior to the last year - so we always only had access to the current year's and the previous year's data.
