We have a financial reports that can be 50 pages long. Sometimes we only want to print pages 21 to 22 and save some trees. We select Pages 21 to 22 under print range of File|Print. The result is all pages starting at 21 are printed. I thought this might be a print driver issue, but I have confirmed this action on different systems with different print drives.

Any ideas to resolve the issue or a work-around?
Thanks,
David

David,

As a work-around for this, get a copy of Cute PDF or one of the other freely available utilities to print to a PDF file.

Print the report to the PDF and use Adobe reader to print the pages you want at any time. You can even print odd and even numbered pages separately on the front and back of your paper and save even more trees!

If you want to distribute certain pages from the PDF to certain people in the company, you can even print the PDF to Cute PDF selecting just the pages you want and e-mail the report! No trees used at all! (Great for branch offices -- sorry, I could not resist the obvious play-on-words.)

Yes, that is the behaviour in GL8.1A. In GL9.0A, only pages 21 and 22 would print.

It sounds like each page is a separate statement. If they were in fact treated as separate statements (either by being on separate sheets within the same workbook or being separate files added as items to a statement group), you could either click on the sheet and print it only or open the statement group and print the desired statements separately that way.
