Hello All,

I am new to using adagio, and I had to make a backup of my data late last night, and it was saved to a zip file, just was wondering how to restore my data and get it back and running today??

Thanks,

Darcy

Hello Darcy,

Before I tell you "how", I'm a little curious as to "why" you need to do a restore. Did a problem show up?

Andrew,

To be more specific, my data was accidentally deleted, and I can't find it in the recycle bin or anything like that, so I just need to know how to access the backup.

Thanks

Darcy

Adagio backs up files in a "zip" file.

If it was GL data you backed up "Search" for BKGL*.ZIP files.

Generally, Adagio backs up the files to a folder called ...\DATABACK which is a sub folder where your data files were saved. If you are using XP then you should be able to open the "zip" file as a folder. Otherwise use WINZIP to unzip the appropriate backup.
