A new customer was set up with the account set of Canadian A/R and should have been US. When the first payments were made the girl manually changed the account set for the deposits to US. This put the deposit to the correct bank but the receivables are still in Canadian. She never said anything, so no one fixed the original problem. Then the last check that came in was posted without changing the account set. That deposit shows in the wrong bank but balances the receivables. I want to fix this however there are outstanding invoices. How can I best correct this. Do I have to back out everything, correct the account set and repost? I thought I could put through GL JE to correct but with partially paid invoices I'm not sure what to do.
