Are we talking about importing the g/l batch? There's a template already defined - check File | Import | Batches.

Yes, the G/L import. So once I get to that screen I select all fields available, correct?

Sorry Andrew but where do I find this option. When I go to import my only options are Header detail & Detail only.

I think you'll find the template under "Detail only".

In the US version of Paymate Platinum, you don't import GL batches at all, you retrieve them just like you would from any other subledger. I would be shocked if the Canadian version were any different. This has been true since 2005.

Why would you want to import GL batches?

Thanks. I tried retrieving and it gives me the message. "The home currency of Paymate Platinum V2.92 does not match the home currency of the General Ledger. Batch cannot be retrieved.

What is the home currency of the general ledger and payroll batch?
