Is there a current 1099 form that can be used with adagio so that I don't have to type out my 1099s. I tried to use the sample one and it does not line up at all. Thanks!!

Have you tried the Sample 1099(2005) form? This form can also be modified in AP using the menu Maintenance | Maintain Specifications option. The name of the sample file on disk is AP$2005.dat (where .dat should be whatever the extension of your data is).

Hello Holquist:

In Payables 80A (20060330) and later, there is a menu choice 'Open Template' in the File menu in the designer.

This function provides a list of the template specification files shipped with Payables. The templates can be opened, modified as needed and saved as a specification with your company database.

In this same release, we added a new 1099 spec (AP$2005) to match slight changes in 1099-MISC for 2005 to the list or template specification files.
