I have a client who needs up to 20 characters in the PO field. I customized the field to increase it to 20, however, she says in the reference she can still only type in 12. Is there a way to increase it?

The PO number field holds 15 characters.

If you need more you could use the description field (30 characters) and change the Invoice form to print that field under PO number.

You could aslo set up a user defined field.

If you use a user defined or the description field can you show the PO# in the historical invoice lookup screen to check for PO# numbers quickly or easily?

If you use the header Description field, you can find it in History using either the formal "Search" option or using [F6] while viewing the list of historical Invoices. The Description field is 30 characters long.
