I use the Adagio Ledger & Payables. There are currently 2 users that use it, we both have our own login information for the 2 existing companies set up on the program (and we see the same things when we log in). I would like to set up a new company but want to limit which user can see it. For example, I want to set up a new company that only I can access. I do have the administrator info so that isn't an issue.

Security rights in Adagio are saved by company, so what you are asking is failry easy to do. Essentially, you will use a different security group than the other user.

In the company that you both access, create 2 security groups from File / Groups, one for you and one for the other person (say A and B). Give the appropriate access privileges to each group. Then from File / Users, assign your login and the other person's login to the respective groups (say you get A and the other gets B).

Then for this other company where only you have access, you still create the exact same group codes A and B from File/Group setup, but you can assign different privileges. Here, give group B only access to File/Open and Exit and nothing else.
