How do we change the DataSet location in the Adagio MultiCurrency profile? This data was converted from A+. They're not sharing the Adagio dataset with A+.

We must have done something wrong "... when we first created this database or when we first opened it in an Adagio module..."
The MC profile is showing that the dataset location is in the /softrak/sytem sub-directory. The data is located under /softrak/data/.... It would appear as though we may have to reinstall as the dataset location can't be edited.

Adagio stores the path to the currency files within a text file called ADSPROF.dat in the data directory (substitute your data company extension for dat). This gets created the first time you use Adagio with a company.

If you plan on using Adagio only for that company, the location for the currency files MC*.LD4 would typically be \softrak\system. If this is what you desire, then use Notepad to edit the ADSPROF path and change it. Or you can simply rename this file and the next time you start Adagio, you can re-enter the correct information.

If the currency files were stored for usage by Accpac Plus (in the \ASP directory) and you don't want to re-enter all the exchange rates, you may need to copy all the MC*.LD$ files from \ASP and paste them to \softrak\system. Make sure this is what you want before following these steps.
