Yesterday I logged onto the Tips and Tricks webinar (thanks Andrew!) given online. Andrew, you showed us how to add other programs (including excel, word etc.) to the dropdown menu once in the Adagio modules. I took notes, but can't get it to work. I did follow your instructions to copy the "menus.ini" folder, and it was VERY good advice! Is there a way you can post the instructions for us? I'd love to use this feature. It will save a lot of time!

Hi Karen,

I've posted the instructions here, in the TechTips section of the web site. Make sure to make a copy of MENUS.INI before attempting any changes. Only edit MENUS.INI with Notepad. Print out your MENUS.INI and the instructions and make sure you understand what is going on before trying to make these changes.

The command line parameters (/d /e /u /p) for your Adagio shortcuts are described in the Adagio Fundamentals manual in the chapter "Command Line Parameters". We've added "/t" to the list to allow you to specify the sign on date. /t must be followed by the date in "yyyymmdd" format. For example "/t20060131" to sign on with a session date of Jan 31, 2006.

BTW - you know that you have to be making this change in the \softrak\system subdirectory on the drive where you launch Adagio from?
