Adagio Ledger and Adagio FX contain many sample financial statement specifications with the sample data. There are also over 60 samples available for download from http://www.greatstatements.com that you might find useful. Here is a step-by-step procedure for making use of these statements with your live data.

1. Open the financial reporter in your live data.
2. Select File | Import spec in the financial reporter.
3. Change the type of file to import to "Adagio FX specification files"
4. Browse to the Adagio FX sample data directory (\SOFTRAK\AFWIN\SAMDATA). If you have downloaded the samples from http://www.greatstatements.com and unzipped them elsewhere, then browse to that subdirectory.
5. Select the specification you want.

   The sample specification will not have the correct accounts referenced.
   

6. Make sure the specification is "collapsed".
7. Clear all the account ranges in the financial statement.
8. Open up your chart of accounts (View | Chart of accounts)
9. Drag the correct account ranges onto the statement.
10. Use File | Save as to save the updated statement with your data.
