Hi Sherri,
In your data directory is a pointer file called ADSPROF that contains the location of the EZTASKS (multi-user locking) and Currency files. Prior to your move, you probably had Accpac Plus in use, thus selected C:\ASP for this, which is perfectly fine.
When you moved to the new laptop, did you also install Accpac Plus to the C drive? If not, then that would explain things because an \ASP directory will not exist on your laptop. Should this be the case, you don't have to select the same files that Accpac would use (as both systems won't be run simultaneously) Instead of C:\ASP, choose C:\Softrak\System as the location for both. I believe it mentions this in the text within the box for entering these paths.
Note also that the Adagio user list will also be stored in the same location. If you attempt to log into Adagio now as a user other than the default 'SYS', you probably will get a 'Sign-on Failed' message. We shouldn't post the file specifics here (for security reasons), but you probably will have to re-enter the other user ID codes. Open any Adagio program as SYS and from the File menu, choose Users to add them back. (Because you are installing to local C, this might not be an issue for you...)
