Hi there,

Some of the reports have a tendency to print off the edge (perhaps the last digit is lost). This can be frustrating when you are trying to add some figures and the last two digits have gone awol.

Is there a way of fixing this (or changing the font)? These are non-specification reports that come off the Menu.

Cheers

Suresh

Hi Suresh

Adagio uses your Windows' settings as the basis for how the reports will print. Unlike the specifications, you cannot modify these reports apart from the settings under Adagio's Reports|Report Options menu.

Problems like this can occur due to your printer's internal margin settings or due to using the incorrect version of the printer driver.

In some cases I suppose, your display settings could affect this as well. I have just seen this occur on the actual print of specification driven documents, however, if this setting affects those, it stands to reason it could affect your Adagio reports as well. For example, if you are using the advanced setting for 'Large Fonts', this could affect how Windows displays your fonts, as well as affecting certain printouts.

Regards

Hi Martin,

I've only just started to get into Crystal Reports, so I might refrain from "ruining" Softrak's hard work for the moment ... :-)

I'll muck around with the printer settings, although it doesnt matter if it is my computer at home or at the office (different printers), the screen printout is always slightly skewed.

Cheers,

Hello Suresh,

Crystal Reports for Adagio should be shipping Real Soon Now! It is capable of modifying all the reports (.RPTs) in Adagio. Of course, you'd want to make a backup of the original before making any serious changes!

Look for an announcement in the next couple of weeks. Of course, Crystal Reports for Adagio is also capable of producing fabulous reports from your ACCPAC Plus data (just like Quik Reports for Windows).

Cheers

I certainly second that! I can finally get staff off my backs for not having an Inventory Movement report look exactly like their manual stock card used to!!

Cheers!

Hi Suresh,

Be careful what you promise. The data you need for this report may not be maintained by Adagio (or ACCPAC Plus), or it may not be organized in a way conducive to easily presenting it in an expected layout.

This is just a warning based on 15 years of selling and supporting report writers for ACCPAC Plus, not based on any specific knowledge of the report you're looking for...

Cheers
