I have just upgraded from Office 95 to Office 97 and am getting Runtime Error 13 Type Mismatch when starting QL.

I have re installed QL and checked the icon properties with no sucess.

Please Advice.

If you have Quik Link 6.1A, then this is not compatible with Office 97. You would need to upgrade the Quik Link to 6.2A for it to work. This is the usual reason for this message.

If you have 6.2A, do a file search on your system for quiklink.xla, which is one of the Quik Link 'program files'. It should only be in one location on your local hard drive. Should it appear more than once, delete all other occurances of the file except for the one you want.
