It is Important to us to continue with this system until May or Jun 2000. Our year end is Dec. All entries have been make to Dec 30/99. Year end closing has not been done. We do no require receivables from the system. We are willing to do without the statistical info. Our 386 cpu has been adapted to handle Y2K. The real time clock has not been allowed to read yr 2000.
Question: 1. If we process our Jan 2000 wip data as say Jan 98 data will the system perform as usual for this temporary arrangement? our only expectation is to update our wip for billing.
2. If we did the YE procedure what would happen - would the program perform?
Your comments would be appreciated.

Hello Jack,

TBR 4.1 predates the earliest version that Softrak has on file. Softrak purchased TBR at the 6.05C level. Although we have some earlier versions and some tools that are used to convert data in the Database Repair Department, I do not have a program to use in testing. I can not offer you any guarantees that this program will behave as you hope it will.

I suggest that you make a copy of the data and test year end on the copy.
