We have recently upgraded IC and IR from 6.1b to 6.5. I have converted my reports in Qr. I am not able to print some that use the IR module. I keep getting an error "file unit 8 is in use" and no data prints. Is there something else I should be doing to be able to run these reports ?

This message relates to the way the new IR version installs it's QR tables.

1. Ensure that after installing the IC65 upgrade, that you then reinstalled (or upgraded) QR, and then installed IR, as QR must be reinstalled AFTER the ACCPAC Plus core modules, but BEFORE any installation/upgrades of 3rd Party applications.
2. If you have performed the upgrades as above and you are having this problem, then you need the newest IR tables for QR. You can obtain them from UniSoft, by going to their website and downloading them, or your local ACCPAC Dealer should be able to get them for you.

You should follow the instructions they give for installing the new tables, and then your QR should work fine.
