We have Quick Invoice Plus for Windows 6.5A. I have not been successful in setting up the option for faxing invoices at a "Scheduled Time". I have no problems sending faxes "now" but when I have them scheduled for a later time..nothing happens. Even if I activate the "fax server".

There are no known issues regarding scheduled faxes from QIWIN. Are you just starting to use this option, or have you used it before successfully, and now it has stopped working.

What kind of setup for QIWIN do you have? Network w/Network Fax Server, or standalone with modem connections? Multi-user or not? What release of QIWIN6.5 are you using? What NOS w/client? What workstation O/S environment? What brand/speed of fax card?

I will look into this further, the more information you can provide, the better.

Current version for QIW is 6.5A (980823). Our present setup is standalone with modem connections, single user. Workstation is Win95, fax card is U.S Robotics 56k Voice Win.

We have just started using the fax opion, scheduling has not been tried before.

Thank you for your prompt response. I have been able to get the fax schedular to work by closing all windows and minimizing the fax queue window. Is there a way to activate the fax server while still working on QIW?

Only the station designated as the "Fax Server" will be able to do this. In other words, the system that has the modem.

Yes, you can work in QIWIN/Adagio while the Fax Server is running, however, if you do alot of faxing, you may want to setup a separate system do be the designated Fax Server, as you may notice a slow down in the operation of your QIWIN and/or DOS Windows' due to the fax server being constantly in use.

If the system you are running the minimized Fax Queue on is NOT equipped with a modem, you will not be able to open the Fax Server. Only the system with the modem can do this.
