When we execute a report from the 'designer' it works fine. When executed through the 'Printer', just after the range selection (without any selection) when presses 'ESC', windows throws a message as illegal operation. In some of the start-lists the system shows as if printing and the computer gets freezed in the QR-designer screen it self.
Using QR 6.1F presently, but ordered the latest upgrade recently. Yet to be installed.

Hi Devon,

The Quik Reports printer does require more memory than the designer, so it may be that some reports are just complicated enough to run in the designer, but not the printer.

If you are running under a Novell network, try copying the data local and print the reports from there. There have been reported problems with older versions of Quik Reports and newer version of Novell; they have been addressed on the current version.

Also, if you are running a more current version of the System Manager, it may be that all you require is to install the new version of Quik Reports you have ordered. QR6.1F is about 4 years old.
