Have one workstation on a network where you initiate the workstation install. While it installs when you initiate going into the program it "checks the workstation install" and starts the program all over again and then just exits. So can not get into any programs.

Just throwing this out there for any suggestions.

They are at latest versions of all modules except Receivables.

Hello John or Scott,

Because different versions of Adagio are using different versions of Crystal, there is a Common Workstation update besides the regular Workstation update.
Once the Common Workstation update is complete, normally, you have an option to exit.

Please go into the Softrak\System folder and run CHKSYS.EXE. This will clean up any unnecessary reporting dlls. You may need to run it twice to make sure there are no errors.

Hi Support,

Thanks for input but still a no go. I did a complete uninstall of Adagio on said workstation. Did both the common update and workstation update and ran chksys twice as you had mentioned and the program will not load. By load I mean the install works OK and the program initializes but it never gets to the logon screen. In the taskbar it mentions "Checking Workstation Install" and then the install starts all over again.

I cheated and copied over another C:\Softrak folder from another workstation just to test and nothing changed there as well.

I uninstalled Crystal Runtime V25 thinking that could be the culprit and did a reinstall and still the same issue.

Not sure if you can recommend anything else to try.

Are you using \SOFTRAK\ALLWKST\allwkst.exe

Is AdagioV3PDF installed?

Do you install using Run as Administrator?

Hi Patricia,

My apologies for the month late response. LONG story short we did a complete reformat of the workstation in question.

BUT it was your suggestion about the AdagioV3PDF that got us pointed in the right direction. I was grasping at straws obviously and while the V3PDF reinstall didn't work it was the attempt at uninstalling all PDF loaded by Adagio and it was there that some could not be uninstalled hence the reformat of the hard drive.

Again my apology for not reaching out sooner but next time this happens will look take your suggestion as the first thing to look for.

Glad you solve the issue even if it required a rebuilt.

Once I had this issue. It seems like the AdagioV3PDF components were corrupted and it wouldn't install.
Since the client didn't have Eprint or Docstore, renaming the required PDF driver in the .ini file was enough.
