When I run this function, does it re-size the windows for the module selected for all datasets for that user? Or just the one I run it from?

I guess another way of asking this - at what level is the size of a window stored? At the user level? At the user/dataset level? Or some other level?

Thanks

Steve

That information is stored in the registry on that workstation for your logged in Windows session. It deletes the Forms section under Current User\Software\Softrak Systems\Application Name. Nothing to do with other Adagio apps or your Adagio login.

Thanks Bob

So if I understand that correctly, running Window | Original Sizes resets all window sizes for all datasets and for all Adagio users who log on to Windows with that ID.

Does that apply to the whole "By Application" section of the General tab of the User Preferences?

The reset only applies to forms. If users shared a windows login, it would apply to anyone using that PC. All datasets.

Hi Steve,

Bob is saying it's User / Workstation (physical machine) specific. So if two people share a machine, they have different settings. Or, if the same (Windows) user signs onto a different machine, they may have to resize their windows on that machine.

It is machine specific since the computers may well have different monitors attached.
