Hi Support:

A client says that they have to re-select the Cover Sheet every time they email OE Invoices. They say that the "Email Cover" field is blank each time.

I don't think it's a factor either way, but they do have "Remember form settings" = "On" (in User Preferences).

Question: With OE 9.3A, is there something that needs to be done to default the email Cover Sheet?

Hi Bruce,

I wasn't able to replicate a problem with remembering the Email Cover Sheet in OE9.3A when 'Remember Form Settings' was enabled in User Preferences. Even if I turn 'Remember Form Settings' off and then back on again, it is remembered. Also even if I close the OE program and re-open it.

You can point GridView to see if the Form Option was remembered. The dictionary is 'Adagio Common Files 9.2A', the table is 'Report Options', and when the data is loaded into the view, the 'App Prefix' will be OE, I believe the 'Report ID' will be 3221, and the 'Field name' will be Email cover. This is remembered by user - I tested with SYS.

Thank you Support. It worked for me too on my own system. This raises the possibility that the client might be mistaken. I'll look at it tomorrow with them and update this thread.

Problem resolved. One of the users in the office had "Remember form settings" enabled and the other didn't. I made the mistake of making an assumption.
