When the Check Register is printed, the client used to be prompted to clear the register.

Is there a setting that can be changed that will provide this prompt again?

That site came from quite an old version of AP. The 'Allow post journal purge' option, which also affects the Check Register, was removed from AP's Company Profile when 9.2A was originally released, Users are prompted to ensure reports are printed when they run Year End and the reports are purged with that function.

The reports can provide a valuable audit trail.
