Tech support asked me to post this on the forum in case someone else runs into a similar problem.

At a client site, when printing an invoice to PDF and then using Adobe Acrobat to print the PDF, the invoice printed fine. But when printing from Adagio directly to the same printer, there were lots of faint horizontal lines on the page, making the invoice look ugly.

Here is what the client figured out and wrote to me...

Our printer is set up on our server and shared. All the local machines have the printer set up locally as well.

We don’t know how but on all but one of our computers the print mode setting was changed on the local printer settings from Vector to Raster. The server had the correct settings but that was being overridden by the local machine, but only when printing from Adagio and not other programs like Word or Acrobat. We have now set all the local settings for print mode to Vector and the forms are now printing correctly.
