Hi, We just did upgrades on the weekend for our client that included AP9.3A 180201, GL 9.3A 171102, PO 9.3A 171107 , LP 9.3A70525, GV 9.3A 1711220, SR 9.2A 170904 and MC 9.2B 161128.
Upgrades and data conversion appear clean. No errors reported or detected. Chksys is clean. We have not updated our OE 9.2A to 9.3A because of 3rd party company compatibility with OE 9.3A. OE 9.2A 160201 operates fine. When we open IC 9.2A 160317, we get message that this version of IC is not compatible with our AP data and we cannot open IC any further beyond the message?
So we download and install the more recent version of IC 9.2A and upgrade IC 9.2A 160317 to IC 9.2A 170608. And it installs fine. And there is no data conversion.
When we again open IC 9.2A, we still get the message that this version of IC is not compatible with our AP data?
We have redone workstation installs for IC and AP. There does not appear to be any hot fixes for either versions of the modules.
We have checked the version compatibility charts. And everything appears correct.
We are blocked from using IC functionality and this is essential to client's operations. Please advise.
Thanks, Brian

Hello Brian,
Please run \softrak\system\chksys.EXE and select "List Versions" to make sure that all the versions installed properly. Posting the results here would help diagnose the problem. You can copy and paste from the CHKSYS window.

Hi, I reconnected this morning to our client's site to attempt to resolve by reinstalling IC 9.2A 170608.
The install prompts said this was the wrong version to install which is normal for re-installing the same version on top of itself, so I entered the previous version's serial and install codes. Then the next prompt wanted to confirm if I wanted to upgrade from IC 9.2A 160703 to IC 9.2A 170608, which was odd because everything so far looked like I was on 170608 except the incompatible message (when launching IC) indicated otherwise.
Re-installing IC 9.2A 170608 was much quicker this time.
After re-installing, I tested IC and we can now open Inventory 9.2A without any compatibility errors being reported. Relief!
In the future, where else in the installation process can we check to determine what version is actually installed. Obviously, there is a flag somewhere or a secondary setting that notes the version installed for compatibility purposes. We would like to know because we often install upgrades outside of our client's business hours to minimize business disruption. And rather than having to wait for support on west coast time zone or guess to re-install for various module upgrade versions, we would like to be able to confirm all instances of installed versions in situations when this reported false incompatibility of module versions might arise.
Thanks, Brian
