I have been trying to print Adagio OE invoice receipts on thermal paper but whenever I try to use a custom paper size in Order Designer and then try to preview/print a dummy form, adagio crashes. Even if I change the custom size to 8.5 x 11 it still crashes.

Any idea what is going on?

I've learned a few things about printing to a receipt printer with a roll of thermal paper. It's a continuous form, so remove the footer section. Use the header, details and totals sections. Set the width to say 3" and length to something large like 22". That prevent Adagio from generating a new page. Set the left margin to 0.0787". Set the paper size to custom.

Configuring thermal printers can be tricky. Install the appropriate drivers and software. Test that it prints with Word.

That should give you better results.
