Just upgraded to the latest version of A/R, O/E, A/P and Lanpak (5user) from old versions as listed below:
Payables 8.0A (051122)
Receivables 8.0A (051124)
OrderEntry 8.0A (050908)
Lanpak/05 6.8A (040305)

The original install was an Accpac Plus conversion.

There were no issues when the upgrades were installed.
No issues with data conversion.

However now the programs are running very very slowly.
eq - opening a new order in O/E - 12 seconds (from the time "new" was selected until the order screen opens.)
This had been virtually instantaneous before the upgrade.

Environment as follows:

Linux Centos OS on Server
W10 Workstations

Oplocks is enabled on workstations (this was changed after install as they had been disabled prior to upgrade.
The equivalent to SMB2 for Linux is enabled.
AV is set to exclude all Softrak and Adagio folders and files.

Attached a W7 workstation to network to test speed to eliminate a W10 issue - still slow.

Have had the network technicians check the network,

Not sure what else might be the issue.

Help Please!
Thanks,
Bill

I bet dollars to donuts on the AV. Make sure the Folders are excluded using both drive mappings and UNC names. Some AV programs don't understand that they can be equivalent.

Also, I'm assuming sufficient memory in the workstation.

Network speed. 100mb or 1gb?

Don't know how much ram a linux server should have but the workstations should be 8gb.

Hi Bill,

Because it's not clear in your original post... Are you comparing Adagio against a previous Adagio release, or against Accpac Plus?

Are you immediately going to "New order"?

Adagio 9.2A versions do a bunch of "waking up" in the background to speed the launching of reports. If you let that complete, how long does "new" take for an order?
