I have a client who has two companies. IN AP, all reports are fine for one of them and for the other company there are all kinds of nonsense in the AP reports.
Reports do not show the company name. (Profile is fine)
Manual Cheque Register prints all zeros.
Some reports print the Home and Source currency summaries even though the company is not multicurrency, with no option to not show it.

The other modules' reports are fine.
Using 8.1F
Thanks for any ideas.

For the database that doesn't work run the Data Integrity Check and let us know if you find any errors.

I'd like to also add that this is converted DOS data.
Maybe that will jog some thoughts.
Thanks.

The trick to solving this is to figure out what is the difference between the one that works and the one that doesn't work.

Make sure you are using the same workstation and same install of Adagio for testing the database that works against the one that doesn't work.

If that still fails then trying taking the data to your office and print the reports there. Still fails then it's the data. Doesn't fail then something is going on at your clients site.

If it's the data and you recently converted it from DOS then they may be left over dead temp files that need to be cleaned up (though I doubt they would be causing the problems you describe).

I absolutely believe it is something wrong with the data - just because of all the troubleshooting so far. The question is, how do I fix it? I will clean up some TMP files because I do see some there and see if that works, but like you said, I doubt that is the problem.
IF the DIC is not picking it up - then what choice do I have?

Just an update... converting this data to 9.2A straightens it out and reports run fine. The problem is that they are on XP machines so I need to know what 9.2A does that 8.1F does not.

AP v9.2 changes the reports from Crystal v8.5 to Crystal 2013, which is substantial. A guess: garbage in the data the DIC ignores but the reports don't until the upgrade when the newer version of Crystal can manage the garbage.

But really, your trying to maintain Adagio on an obsolete workstation. It will be cheaper to buy a new workstation rather than spend the money to figure out and fix the problem.
